Two Nurses Charged with Illegal Distribution of Painkillers

The Nurses from Mercy Regional pleaded guilty to distribution of Oxycontin and Oxycodone.  Preliminary estimates are that they will receive 2 years in prison.

Manhattan Unemployment Stays Steady at around 5%

The latest report from the Kansas Department of Labor shows Manhattan with a five-percent unemployment rate for Febraury, up only two tenths from four point eight percent in 2010.
